Hi, I’m Cheyenne, your compact, buckskin, slightly sassy Quarter Horse mare with a very sweet heart and very clear expectations. I stand at 14.3 hands, but make no mistake - I run things around here.
 

I’m experienced in both English and Western riding and I am steady, dependable, and often not in a hurry, unless my rider asks. Then? I’ve got a lovely canter and I’m more than happy to show it off. I just believe in saving energy for when it actually matters. 
 

Let’s talk lifestyle. I prefer my stall, specifically with freshly arranged shavings that I’ve fluffed to my exact standards. Occasionally, you will find me napping (because, let's be honest, I’ve earned it). I do allow a brief paddock appearance some mornings for a proper dirt roll, five minutes tops. Balance is important.
 

Now, boundaries. I am a proud social distancing queen. Other horses? Please respect my space. Humans, however, are welcome, especially if they come bearing treats.

• They also happen to bring out my very best smile… which, I’ve been told, is quite stunning.
   

Around the barn, I’m known for being kind, reliable, and just sassy enough to keep things interesting. I’m the kind of horse that takes care of my rider, but also expects a certain level of respect in return. Fair is fair.

Cheyenne is privately owned but generously shares her time with the students in our educational programs.
