Breed: Domestic Shorthair | Position: Barn Cat | Color: Orange & White (giving Dreamsicle ice cream vibes)

Job Title: Chief Cat Nap Officer

Hi, I'm Huey Waffles! I wasn't born at AMP Stables & Barns, but I think I ended up exactly where I was meant to be. I came here through a Trap, Neuter, Relocate (TNR) program after spending my early life as a feral cat. It took me a little while to settle in, but now I'm proud to call AMP Stables & Boarding home.

As Chief Cat Nap Officer, I take my responsibilities very seriously. My daytime schedule consists primarily of supervising the barn from my favorite spot on top of the horse stalls, where I conduct extensive research on the quality of naps. I firmly believe a well-rested barn cat is a productive barn cat.

Don't let all those naps fool you, though. I work the overnight shift, quietly patrolling the barn while everyone else sleeps. By morning, I occasionally leave behind a little "gift" to remind everyone that rodent control is one of my many talents. You're welcome.

Lately, I've also been working on expanding my social circle. The chickens weren't quite sure what to think of me at first, but I've slowly been integrating myself into the flock—especially around feeding time. I'm still not convinced they appreciate my company as much as I appreciate theirs, but I'm making progress.

Life at AMP has taught me that sometimes the best things happen when someone gives you a second chance. I may have arrived as a feral cat, but now I have a job, a family, and more cozy napping spots than I know what to do with. I'd say that's a pretty good life.
