Sunshine Meadows Equestrian Village Rules
AMP Stables & Boarding is located within Sunshine Meadows Equestrian Village. All visitors, boarders, students, families, guests, instructors, service providers, and participants must follow applicable Sunshine Meadows Equestrian Village rules in addition to AMP Stables & Boarding policies.
Sunshine Meadows management may update or enforce property-wide rules at any time.
General Rules
1
The 15 MPH speed limit must be adhered to at all times. First offense will be followed by a $50.00 fine, 2nd offense will be a $75.00 fine and you will be asked to vacate the property on the 3rd offense.

All dogs must always be on a leash, NO EXCEPTIONS. First offense will be followed by a $50.00 fine, 2nd offense will be a $75.00 fine and you will be asked to vacate the property on the 3rd offense.

All horseback riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their designated trainer or guardian whenever they are riding or mounted on a horse.

No one under the age of 16 is allowed to operate a golf cart at any time.

Free grazing is prohibited at all times.

All horses must be accompanied by a person wearing closed toe shoes.

Bareback riding is prohibited at all times.
8
Smoking is prohibited in, around or near the barns.
9
Management reserves the right to expel any violator of any of these rules from the facility at any time and at its discretion.
Jump Rules:
1
Do not change distances on the lines.
2
If you move any jumps, put them back where you found them prior to exiting the ring.
3
Do not leave jumps over 3' high in the hunter ring.
4
Do not leave rails and flower boxes out from the jumps (impedes dragging).
5
Put pins through both holes in the cups.
Racetrack, Ring And Arena Rules:
1
No riding horses are allowed on the racetrack prior to 10:30AM from May-September and prior to 1:00PM from October-April.

Rings are dragged/watered between 1:00-2:00PM and must be fully vacated prior to 1:00PM. First offense will be followed by a $50.00 fine, 2nd offense will be a $75.00 fine and you will be asked to vacate the property on the 3rd offense.

All riding horses and golf carts must always stay on the outer edge of the racetrack.

All horseback riders MUST wear approved protective and safety headgear when jumping.

All rings are limited to a maximum of 12 riders at any one time.

Be mindful of congregating at the rail. Allow others to work their horses along the rail by not talking and walking in tandem along the rail. In other words, be considerate of others.

No running, no jumping, no loud noises in or around the arenas. In other words, keep a very close eye on all children.

Beginner riders are limited to riding in the pony ring, grass ring, east ring and dressage arenas. They may utilize the other rings only for as long at the other ring is unoccupied.

Hunter/jumper arenas are limited to hunter/jumper riders unless the ring is empty. All other riders must leave the ring if or when a hunter/rider enters the ring.

Dressage arenas are limited to dressage riders unless the ring is empty. All other riders must leave the ring if or when a dressage rider enters ring.
11
Do not actively ride horseback and use your phone simultaneously. If it is necessary to use your phone while on horseback, stop your horse in a safe place and out of the way of other riders.
